Maarifa Kona Bootcamp For Innovators 2018
“Supporting community driven innovations to build resilience and preparedness in the face of drought”
This will focus on managing the programs and processes that identify, generate, and develop innovative ideas to address drought preparedness and resilience. The team will leverage MasterCard Labs’ proven innovation processes, to gather ideas from multiple sources (Adeso, external experts and partners, NGOs, local universities and start-ups, community members), evaluate their potential, and develop solutions and prototypes quickly and cost-effectively.
Maarifa Kona will hold a bootcamp for innovators on 11th to 12th of June at Kenya Comfort Hotel from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
The purpose of this boot camp for innovators is to provide information on the Maarifa Kona innovation process and link the innovators to the network of mentors including peers for cross-learning.
By the end of the boot camp, the participants should be able to:
- Understand the Maarifa Kona innovation process and expected outcomes
- Refine their ideas from the knowledge exchange
- Pair innovators with the AIM network of mentors
